G Family Chronicles: Cousin Pete's wedding

My cousin, Peter "Pete" Mahowald, got hitched October 3rd, to Lisa, a beautiful and sweet woman. I had the chance to talk to her more this visit and I really loved her. Ann picked me up from the airport on Friday and my family put me to work, as expected. I actually really like to help out and prepare for parties. I am a party animal... before, during and after! Sometimes for the good...and sometimes bad. I get it from my grandma, aunts, and dad (and my grandpa, I've heard stories)! Blame it on them if you have to, it's in the genes! Reilly, my cousin (cousin first removed - if you want to be techinical about it [that is your cousin's children, trust me, I looked it up] ), anyways, he was my hang out buddy that weekend. We stayed up late everynight and chatted away. The morning I left, I was up with him and his friends until 5 am and then needed to get up at 7 am to catch my flight. :)

At least Pops was coming back to Utah with me, so we hit the bar at 8:30am and had a beer at the airport. I am my father's daughter. :)

The wedding went GREAT and was so much fun! It was a wonderful atmosphere. Pete and Lisa were so happy and looked like they were having a blast. It was great to be with the Arizona crew again. I feel so at home there and am grateful that I lived there for a while and was able to form bonds.
